According to Nyheter Idag, the religious symbol is the star of David. The three men are reported to have said various anti-Semitic slurs during the attack, and also things about Israel. They are also reported to have called the woman a foul word in Arabic.

A friend of the victim took to Facebook to write about what happened. She explains that even though there are second hand witnesses to the attack, the victim is afraid and didn’t want to report the attack to the police or witness against the attackers.

“Even Swedish people are afraid of witnessing! What is happening here? I don’t understand anything.” writes the friend on Facebook.

Police say that they are looking for tips and are “very interested in coming into contact with people who saw anything on the scene”. The police have given a description of the men. They are around 25 – 30 years old. Two of the men are reported to have black beards. The third a reddish beard. The man with the reddish beard had some form of headdress.
