The man was at a swimming pool and had offered to help an 11 year old girl how to swim when she was attacked.
He has been convicted in the Swedish court of raping the girl and several other sex crimes against a minor.
Samnytt has reported that the man was a chairman for an Afghan organization in Sweden that reportedly is financed with state money.
This organization is engaged in different cultural activities and help stop deportations of migrants that doesn’t have asylum in Sweden.
The organization is also listed on another state financed website called “Agenda equality”, a project that “gathers all activities and organizations that work for a society free from discrimination and oppression.”
The attack happened at a swimming pool just outside of Gothenburg. In May 2016 the girl was swimming with her friends, when the man offered to help her learn to swim.
The girl was instructed to hold onto the edge of the swimming pool and practice leg strokes, when the man assaulted her.
In a police interview, the girl said that he had asked “can you sex” during the attack.
The attack was stopped when the girl’s friends approached.
In the police investigation it is revealed that the man had hidden asylum seekers who had gotten their asylum application denied, and assaulted their daughter who was 5-6 years old at the time.
In police interview it is revealed that the man needed a Persian translator. He came to Sweden from Afghanistan in 2003 when he applied for asylum.
His application was denied in 2008, but was temporarily allowed to stay in 2009 because he had a job. In August 2013 he got permanent residence in Sweden.
The police found that the man had searched for underage material when they had searched his electronic devices.
The man was convicted of rape against a minor and another sexual assault against a minor, as well as several cases of sexual harassment.
He was sentenced to 2 years and 5 months in prison.
However it was appealed by both the defendant and the prosecutor. The prosecutor wanted a harsher sentence and also deportation.
But the appeals court decided to free the defendant from the two cases of sexual harassment.
He ended up with 2 years prison and 5 months prison as the first court ruling had concluded, and he will not be deported from Sweden.
