People are EMPTYING supermarkets in Ireland – in pictures

Follow us on social media!

After a first death and over 70 cases in Ireland, people are now rushing to the supermarkets to bulk buy food.

One of our readers in Ireland has sent us some photos from the empty supermarkets.

Supermarkets are running low on toilet paper in Ireland.

No bread left at the shelves.

Vegetables running short on the Irish supermarket.

No potatoes left at 17:00 PM on the supermarket.

Even the milk was running short in supply.

The reader also tells that he has been told by a staff on the local supermarket that they cannot get hold of pasta anymore.

He further tells that since a few days ago the supermarkets have been very busy, but he has never seen the supermarkets as empty as today.

It seems like the first death that came on Wednesday has got many Irish to panic, and now rushes to stock up toilet paper, canned food etc.

On Thursday, the Irish government announced that they are closing all schools and universities in the country until at least 29th of March.

Feel free to send us photos of how you are affected to [email protected]
