The last 24 hours I have received an enormous amount of hate and racist comments because of one tweet.
I asked why white men are constantly being attacked by the far-left and the media. And it is a relevant question to ask.
We were the first to end slavery. We were the first to give women the vote. Millions sacrificed their lives to fight Nazism in WW2, yet we are constantly being attacked today. The question needs to be asked, why?
And the response to my tweet just confirmed my point. I have seldom seen such racism and hatred before. As of writing my tweet has over 13 000 replies, mostly negative. However it also has over 7 000 likes, meaning that there are many people agreeing with my points.
So let’s delve deeper into these important issues.
First of all, let me start off by saying that I am 100% against any form of white nationalism, and I am strongly against discrimination of black people. In fact, I am strongly against discrimination of ANY people.
All people are created equal in the eyes of God. Black lives matter. Brown lives matter. White lives matter. ALL lives matter.
Have black people been discriminated against? Absolutely, and it is wrong. But in today’s modern society we have come a long way, and we are living in the least racist society, probably in all of human history.
Now, back to my tweet. Everything I stated is a fact. White people were the first to end slavery. Many of you have probably heard of William Wilberforce, the British politician for the Conservative party who led the campaign to abolish slavery.
Historically, people all over the world sadly engaged in slavery, including white people. And that was bad, really bad. But we were the first to abolish it, which is something to celebrate!
And here is another little known fact. White people have been slaves too. European slaves were common during the reign of ancient Rome.
Between the 15th and middle of the 18th century, there was the Barbary slave trade in which white slaves were sold. These slave markets were on the Barbary coast of North Africa, in modern-day Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and western Libya.
It was so brutal, that a vast number of sea coast towns were abandoned. People from all over Europe were captured and sold as slaves in these slave markets. Ottoman pirates even abducted people from as far north as Iceland.
It is estimated that between 1 million to 1.25 million Europeans were captured and sold as slaves in North Africa and the Ottoman empire between the 1600s to the 1800s.
As late as 1908, female slaves were still sold in the Ottoman empire, where sexual slavery was a central part of the slave system.
Is this part of the so called “white privilege” that I keep hearing about from the media and the far-left?
In 1893, New Zealand became the world’s first self-governing country to allow women to vote in parliamentary elections. Today, all women in the Western world have the right to vote.
However, this has not been the case for the rest of the world. For example, in Saudi Arabia women got to vote for the first time as late as 2015.
Now, we keep getting told that we have “white privilege”. Let me be the first to tell you that this very statement in itself is a racist statement. It assumes that just because of my skin color, that I have some form of “privilege”.
I prefer to treat people on the basis of their character, not their skin color. If you assume something just because of a person’s skin color, then you are racist.
There are many white people living in poverty. There are many white people that are victims of racist attacks and violence. Just because someone is white, that doesn’t mean their are automatically shielded from bad things happening in the world.
Just take some examples from what is happening in Sweden. Right now in Sweden there is a trend of young children being attacked and humiliated in gruesome ways while being called anti-Swedish slurs.
Or what about 12 year old Tuvaliee who was attacked by a gang with rocks just recently when walking home?
And what about the grooming gang crisis that is facing Britain. It is estimated that 19 000 children were sexually groomed last year. Is this part of “white privilege”?
We don’t hear much about these kind of things in the media today, because they don’t fit the leftist narrative. Is this part of the “white privilege” I keep being told about?
Why is it that so many people get offended simply for saying something that can in no way be taken as offensive? I did not say anything negative about anyone in my tweets, quite the contrary, in the same thread I said that ALL lives matter and that I am against discrimination of black people.
Here are just some examples of the response I have received.
Many of our ancestors in Europe lived in poverty. People lived hard lives. Many worked hard and died young, and they were white. Thankfully we have now come a long way from that, but that suddenly doesn’t give us “white privilege”.
Furthermore, we get told by the far-left that we have “male privilege”. Nothing could be further from the truth. Women have tremendous power in today’s society.
Women almost always get custody of children. Men are being forced to pay alimony. Women constantly get praised in the media and in the culture. Male victims of domestic abuse largely get ignored.
Men statistically have a much higher chance of dying in workplace related accidents. Male suicide rates are higher than women.
This is not to say anything negative about women. I love women. Women contribute greatly to our society. They are our mothers, sisters and wives. They raise children and pass our culture forward to the next generation.
But to say that males have a “privilege” is simply wrong. Yes, men and women are different. Men are physically stronger. Women are more caring. We have differences, but when we work together, it becomes something good.
The far-left loves to sow division and create chaos. This is because they know that it is much easier to conquer people who are divided.
Far-left groups like Antifa want to bring about a Communist revolution, and the easiest way to do that is to divide and conquer. They try and pitch people of different races against each other. They try and pitch men and women against each other.
We have seen this with feminism. Modern day feminism is heavily inspired by Marxism and far-left ideology. Sadly many feminists today are anti-male and have caused a division between the sexes.
Many males today feel alienated by women because of feminism, and many women today feel alienated from men because of what feminism has done to men. Instead of embracing masculinity and femininity, the far-left has tried to destroy it, and thus creating division between men and women.
The number one bond between people is marriage. But the result of decades of far-left ideology has left us with a low marriage rate and discord.
I want all people to live together in peace and harmony. We must reject far-left ideology that seeks to divide and conquer.
We must expose the lies that the far-left has promoted, and one of those lies is the myth of “white privilege”.
Let’s work together towards a better future!
