VIDEO: Swedish police clash with BLM protesters in Stockholm

Videos showing chaotic scenes from Sweden as police clash with protesters as thousands join a demonstration in support of Black Lives Matter.

The demonstrators got permission to hold a protest between 6pm and 8pm with 50 people. Despite this, thousands of protesters turned up. When protesters ignored directions, the police went to stop the protests.

Another video shows a police attacking protesters outside the Royal Palace.

The police decision to allow the protest with 50 people in the first place has however garnered criticism. Björn Olsen, professor in infectious disease told Expressen that the protest shouldn’t have been allowed with regards to the corona virus situation in Sweden.

The Swedish corona virus death toll per capita has recently been among the highest in the world.

More protests are expected tonight in the city of Malmö.
