A video showing a Swedish man dressed in African clothes apologizing to protesters in Gothenburg has spread on social media.
The man is claiming to represent the Swedish people and is apologizing to protesters for failing to taking care of migrants and black people.
When the man is first trying to speak, he gets told “this is not about you” and is told that a black person should speak instead.
The man does not get a positive response from the protesters. One woman holding a Black Lives Matter sign tells the man that “You came to Africa. Steal our grandparents. Steal our money. Steal our gold. Steal everything from us.”
The same woman was earlier seen shouting racist slurs and advocating for “black power”.
In the video, the woman can be heard saying that black people have a right to be in any country because white people stole from Africa.
The protests in Gothenburg turned violent, with looting and rioting taking place. As we reported on earlier, a family’s moving truck was looted by protesters.
