The bombing crisis in Sweden is continuing as yet another explosion took place on Monday night.
Police were notified of the attack at 23:40 pm of an explosion at a villa.
“At least one person was inside the villa but we don’t have any information about injuries. There is damage to the property, among other things smashed windows” said Ola Österling, press spokesperson at the Stockholm police.
The attack took place in Upplands-Bro, north of the Swedish capital of Stockholm. Police are now increasing their presence in the area.
This comes only days after a massive bomb detonated in the city of Malmö.
On Saturday a bomb was detonated at a gate belonging to a business. The explosion was so powerful that it was heard all over the city.
As we have reported on earlier, Sweden has a bombing crisis, with 257 explosions in 2019. Last year saw a massive bomb in which 250 apartments were damaged and some 20 people injured.
For the last 3 years alone there has been a whopping 630 bombings in Sweden according to official statistics.
The trend seemingly continues as a string of bombings have taken place in Sweden this year as well.
